Sample Order of Worship
This is simply an example of our order of worship to give you an idea of what our worship service is like. We try to constantly look for ways to improve our worship, and we try to vary the order of worship from time to time to avoid falling into a "worship rut."

OPENING WORDS
Leader: By the grace of God we have been gathered together
this day.
People: And so we give thanks for the gift of being together;
we rejoice in this day that the Lord has made!
Leader: God invites us
this morning to consider God's promises.
People: And so we remember
God's gracious providing of old; we commit ourselves to recognize it anew this
day.
Leader: As with Abraham who trusted God's promise and responded in
faith to God's call, so may we listen for a word inviting us to be what God
would have us be, and to do what God would have us do.
People: This day
we will listen -- and we will give thanks for the calls we hear and the grace
God gives us to answer them.
All: AMEN!

Eternal God, our judge and redeemer, we confess that we have tried to hide from you, for we have done wrong. We have lived for ourselves, and turned from our neighbors.
