After 10 years of ministry with us at Glenwood Presbyterian Church, Randy Wellford resigned at the end of November, 2007, to take a job with the Servant Center next door to our church. On March 17, 2008, Glenwood Presbyterian Church welcomed Reverend Charles Howell as our interim pastor. Pastor Charles grew up in Glenwood on Gregory Street. He was a member of Florida Street Baptist Church where he was married and ordained. Pastor Charles attended SW Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, SE Seminary at Wake Forest University in North Carolina and Virginia Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia. He served 35 years as a Baptist pastor and has now served 12 years as a Presbyterian minister. During his years as a Baptist minister, he spent four years as a missionary to Peru. This is his 4th interim church.
