We have a place for you to worship and serve should you be interested in joining our family.
There are several ways you can become a member at GPC: by professing your faith in Jesus Christ and being baptized; by reaffirmation of faith if you have already been baptized; or by a letter from your present church if you are an active member.
If you are a Christian or want to be, you can be a member. We want you to be a part of our family and fellowship!
Women of the Church
We have two Women's Circles at Glenwood, one that meets in the evening and one that meets in the morning to accomodate all schedules.Men of the Church
Our Men of the Church meet for a big breakfast and Bible study on the first Saturday morning of each month at 7:00 AM.Friendly Sunshine Club
A group for older adults, the Friendly Sunshine Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.Sunday School Classes
We have Sunday School classes for all school ages. These classes meet at 10:00am every Sunday mornning.
Our young people are very important to us! We have Sunday School classes for all school ages.
On Sunday evenings, our high school and middle school
youth groups meet at 5:00pm. These groups are also frequently involved in service projects to benefit our community and world.
A nursery is provided during morning worship.
GPC strives to be a mission oriented church. We currently support many ministries through our time, talent, and money. In the near future, we hope to start a hunger mission in Mexico!
Three of our most visible ministries
are serving as a host church for the Guilford Interfaith Hospitality Network, supporting the Grocery Assistance Program, and Vidas De Esperanza.
In addition to GIHN, GAP, and Vidas, a few of our other ministries include:
