Glenwood
Presbyterian
Church
Glenwood Presbyterian Church is proud to be a part of the Guilford Interfaith Hospitality Network. This ministry is a network of churches in our area that agree to join together to fight homelessness. Made up of several "host" churches who are supported by one or two "support" churches each, homeless families are allowed to stay in our church for a week in a program designed to help them subsist and save their money for an apartment of their own. The families move from host church to host church every week and are provided food and transportation to school or work. Glenwood is proud to be a host church in this program, and we team up with our support churches, Holy Trinity Episcopal and Providence Baptist to house homeless families four or five times a year. For more information, please check out the homepage for the Guilford Interfaith Hospitality Network or the homepage for the National Interfaith Hospitality Network, now called Family Promise
