How to Receive Eternal Life
Fact Two: Man is Sinful, and Thus Separated from God. As a Result, He Cannot Know and Experience God's Love and Plan For His Life.
The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." -Romans 3:23. We were created to enjoy fellowship with God, but our sin creates a gap between God and us.
God is a just God, and therefore cannot look upon sin. This sin boils down to one thing - the desire of man to go in his own way, rather than allowing God to lead.
Because of the justness of God, our sin must carry a penalty. The Bible is clear as to what the penalty is: "The wages of sin is death." -Romans 6:23
Is there any way to bridge the gap of separation?
